Who we are
surfex was initiated by Oliver Labs while he was writing his Ph.D. thesis in the Algebraic Geometry Group at the University of Mainz, Germany.
The first pre-version of surfex was implemented in 2001 by Oliver Labs during a Dagstuhl Workshop with the help of the JavaView team.
Later, Richard Morris got involved, mainly by fruitful discussions and also when trying to include his triangulation tool SingSurf into surfex.
The current version is developped by Stephan Holzer (TU München) and Oliver Labs (University of Saarbrücken).
This site is maintained and set up by Oliver Labs.
